Triangulated segments are segments that are shared between three different families that are distantly related (ie, ours, and then two others).
Confirmed Segments
Confirmed segments are segments where I have located a common ancestor, but have not been able to triangulate it with a third family yet.

As you can see, Mom has several more segments "confirmed" than Dad does. The teal ones on Chromosomes 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 10, 14, 15, 16, 18, and 20 are from my grandfather's first cousin. We know that he and mom are both descendants of Johann Loewen (born about 1860 in Lichtenau, South Russia), and Katharina Epp (born about 1860 in Konteniusfeld, Molotschna, South Russia. Tese segments most likely came from them, though we'll need to connect with more distant relatives to figure out which ones came from Johann and which came from Katharina. Johann and Katharina are my 2x-great-grandparents on my mother's father's side.
The dark blue segments on 4, 9, 16, and 20 seem to go back to Jakob Petkau and his wife Justina. Justina is one of our brick walls which I'd like to break through further testing. Jakob and Justina are my 4x-great-grandparents on my mother's maternal side.
The dark blue segment on 8 appears to be from Jakob Nikkel and Justina Driedger. They are also my 4x-great-grandparents on my mother's maternal side. It just so happens that their child married Jakob and Justina's child. (See above.)
The lighter blue segments on 7 go back to an unknown Neufeld ancestor (or his unknown wife), on my mom's paternal side. He is my 6x-great-grandfather.
The lighter blue segment on 8 goes back to Katarina (unknown last name). We know this because we've confirmed a relationship between us and another DNA Relative. Katarina was married twice and had children with both husbands. We are descendants of her second husband, and the other person is a descendant of her first husband, so the segment must have come from Katarina. Katarina is my 6x-great-grandmother.
The lighter blue segment on 9 goes back to Jacob Boldt, and his unknown wife. They are my 6x great-grandparents.
All the yellow segments go back to my 7x great-grandfather Wilhelm Martens and his unknown wife.
