Confirmed Segments--Fox Side

Triangulated Segments

Triangulated segments are segments that are shared between three different families that are distantly related (ie, ours, and then two others).

Confirmed Segments

Confirmed segments are segments where I have located a common ancestor, but have not been able to triangulate it with a third family yet.

On my Fox side, we have one confirmed segment on Chromosome 4 and one triangulated segment on Chromosome 12.  I've narrowed both segments down to a common ancestor couple, but without more testing and more digging, we won't be able to figure out who the exact ancestor was who contributed these segments.

The segment on Chromosome 4 is from my 5x-grandparents John Ingersoll and Martha Jane (Patty) Bull.  John was born 11 October 1758 in Westchester, NY, and died 30 May 1840 in Richland, NY.  Martha Jane was born in 1764, and died 30 July 1834. They connect via my Grandpa Fox's paternal grandmother's side.

The segment on Chromosome 12 is from my 8x-grandparents Mikkjel Gudlicksen Bøe and Rannveig Styrksdatter from Norway.  Mikkjel was born in 1664, and died in 1744 at Boe farm in Norway.  Rannveig was born in 1673 and died in 1751 at Boe farm in Norway.  They are ancestors on my Grandma Fox's maternal side, which to my knowledge was 100% Norwegian.
